My washer keeps stopping mid-cycle and displaying F 06. I have tried “rinse and spin” and “drain and spin” but I can’t get a cycle to finish.
Ralph gave a very good answer on this here: f o6 error code @oldturkey03 Gave another one here: Hasn’t somone figured out the F06 error code?
The cause of my F06 errors appears to be rust and sediment that is coming from the pipes of a 1968 house. Had to install in line water filters for both hot and cold. This will work for months on end and then F06 returns. Clean out the filters. Clean the filter screens where water enters the back of the washer. There is a small inline device that connects the water supply to the timing box at the front left corner of the washer. I remove the device and blow it out. Back in business. Check the screen filters where your hose attaches to the washer. If there is any rust or sediment, consider in line filters.
