I’m experiencing Vertical flickering lines. And according to my research its a Tcon board issue. I’m just planning to buy an external monitor for an alternative. Is it a good idea? Or it will just be useless because external monitors will be affected by the tcon issue aswell? whats the function of tcon board by the way?
The T-CON board is part of the display, it converts the signal into what the LCD panel needs to create the image. Each display will have its own T-CON board. So the internal display’s is independent to your external display! So the bottomline here is if you have a T-CON issue in your internal that won’t effect the external!
