I have a My Book external hard drive that I have had for years. There are a ton of memories on there and the drive is completely filled. I used it the other day and I can’t remember if I ejected it properly or not. But now it won’t show up when I plug it in. When I go to disk utility, the hard drive does show up! But none of the options are available! The “Repair disk” and “Verify disk” options are BOTH grayed out! So I have no idea what to do! My computer sees it it though in disk utility. I will say my Mac is on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. Please help!! I will be forever grateful! Thank you
try test with other computer if same problem, it might be a external drive problem *suggest test with other cable/casing board harddrive
