Hey all, So my brothers 5C started periodically turning black, while staying on, so to be safe i backed it up while it was still working. Today during school the phone went black and never came back. Sometimes if i hold the power button it lights up for a brief moment and i can see the lock screen, but not for long. I was able to boot the phone into recovery mode blind and restore it with itunes. It successfully restored, but the screen never changed from black. I started hitting the power button, and the setup narrator started talking, all but confirming to me that the phone is still functional but just wont display anything. So, do i any other options before i buy a new screen? Will the new screen even work? Thanks in advance
Figured out it was loose display ribbons, fixed it by pushing really hard in the top right of if the panel. I should be getting some tools to open it up and try to secure the connections better
try new lcd if not the backlight is gone need replace New componente
