I have an iPhone 7 that starts up directly to the restore screen. It is a model 1660. Its not bent or severely damaged. Every time I restore it, it gets to the Apple logo and bar screen then goes back to the restore screen and gives the error on itunes. I’ve tried restoring on windows and mac and used multiple cables. I have also tried using 3uTools but it doesn’t restore through there either. Any idea how to fix this?
You may have a device that was affected. See article from Apple It starts off as a No Service issue. Before resetting the device check for Firmware Modem (in settings, general, about) if it exists, if not do not reset the device or it loops. As for work-around, it’s board related, so someone will have to check that defective component and replace it more-or-less.
