So I understand this could be a NAND problem, but I highly doubt that is it, as the user of the phone said he was using it and the phone just stopped working completely. The phone is stuck in DFU mode and restoring with iTunes will work further than an actual phone with a faulty NAND will. But I still recieve 4014. Before I go to great lengths to remove the NAND chip and reprogram it, I want to know what things I maybe need to look for?
have you checked pp3v0_nand for shorts
Here is what Apple says about it. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201444 I think iPhone 7 is new enough that apple may repair or replace it for free.
