Chosen Solution
I have a problem with my iPhone 6s+. It started when my phone started to be slow. I rebooted it, and it got stuck in boot loop (apple logo). I then tried to put in in Recovery Mode and update it via Mac/PC (It did not have the latest iOS). The upgrade failed halfway through with Error 14. I then opened the iPhone and disconnected the LCD etc., but still Error 14 when trying to upgrade. Now it is stuck in Recovery Mode.
Any idea what to do? I would hope not to lose my data, if possible…
At this point in time the only solution would be a restore as the error 14 usually means your NAND is full or corrupt. There have been some cases I have seen where faulty parts or IC has caused this but that is extremely rare. The apple operating systems get larger in size for every update so if you have a lot of data on your phone and it hasn’t been updated for a while this problem will occur. All as Apple have to do is leave a signed skeleton IOS for this situation but they never will. I always advise people who encounter this problem and haven’t backed up there data to put there passcode and phone in a draw as I know people are working on a solution for this error.
