Chosen Solution

Hello, I dropped my iPhone 5 last night with no cosmetic damage to the phone or screen. However, I noticed two vertical white lines and the entire right side of the touch screen is unresponsive. I cannot access certain apps, edit settings, access voicemail archive screen, save alarm clock settings, etc. I did some research and read it may be the digitizer cable, but how do I successfully know if that is the cause? Will replacing the LCD display solve the problem? Please help, I would really like to be able to use my phone again! Thank you so much, :( Stella

It’s most likly a damaged screen and a new one will fix it But you can open it up and make sure the connectors are plugged in correct but I’m 99% sure this isn’t the case

I have the same issue with my iPod. Only half the screen works (right side). I use Zoom, one of the things in the Accessibility settings, to navigate to the left part of the screen where i cannot access. One of the hardest parts of using it that way is typing. Usually, the app doesn’t support horizontal view, so i have a somewhat difficult time typing in portrait. If i have to type something large, i use the Notes application because i can write horizontal there, then I paste it over to the app. Most games are unplayable since you need the full screen to play. I can use some games like real racing 3, and Agar.io because both use only one side of the screen. So far, it isn’t that bad. I am getting it fixed in 2 weeks so it isn’t a bad alternative especially if you need a device to use.

Where can you go to get an ipod 5 fixed? My whole screen became unresponsive a couple days ago and i cant use it at all. I have all my pictures and important stuff on there on icloud. how much would it cost to get it fixed?

I dropped my iPhone 6 and it cracked at the top right corner and across the top of the screen. What has me stuck is that the TOP of my phone works but the bottom is completely unresponsive! I can’t even unlock it, but it will let me press the number one and that’s all. If you try to press 2 it types 8 instead!? I’ve already had the screen replaced one and really don’t have the money to do it again.. Is there ANY possible easier way to fix my phone, my whole life is on there!! Thanks!!

I have the same issue.my iPhone 5s hasn’t fallen, hardware looks very nice but the right side corner of the whole screen is not responding.can anyone please help me out
