My ride on mower engine keeps cutting out after 5-10 secs (blades not engaged), but if I engage the blades in the first few seconds it keeps running. Once I’ve been cutting for a few minutes it will keep running with or without the blades being engaged. So frustrating because it takes me about 10 starts to get from the shed to the grass. Anyone any ideas?
@kanddgoodwin,Keith, Sounds like it could be a faulty safety deck switch/ wire/plug to the switch, or shorting wire by the deck engagement lever or deck linkages maybe shorting. Good luck.
