Has anyone seen this problem before… iPhone 6 plus has distorted sound through earpiece only (loud speaker and headphones have good clear sound). I changed earpiece speaker and also flex cable but no improvement - sound still distorted. The phone doesn’t appear to have been opened before and hasnt suffered water damage. I would have thought it was the audio ic if sound was distorted on loudspeaker and earphones too, but this is not the case. Confused!
How does it sound distorted? Like muffled or more of a popping noise? If it’s muffled/quiet then it could be the earmesh. Also check if there are any rips on the front flex cable
