Hi! i have an early 2009 white macbook with an american keyboard. I want to know if i can replace it with an UK english upper case, and if i could use any of them (2006-2009) as described in the ifixit guide. Some say yes, others say no,who is right?. Thanks!. P.S. Early 2009 2ghz macbook with nvidia 9400m graphics.
As a rule generally you can not cross model years for parts swaps. However this upper case is an exception in that it does work with more than one year. you’ll be ok. iFixit Catalogue even has a “compatibility check” feature on it’s pages.
