Hi, I was wondering if the display assembly from a late 2008 to early 2009 would fit on my Mid 2009 MacBook Pro 15” 5.4. The connectors seem to be identical. Thanks for your help :-)

Arne Büsing  without knowing the actual panel number and only going by the information you gave us it looks like it is compatible with the following: MacBook Pro 15.4" 2.0GHz Core i7 (A1286) - Early 2011 MacBook Pro 15.4" 2.2GHz Core i7 (A1286) - Late 2011 MacBook Pro 15.4" 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo (A1286) - Late 2008 MacBook Pro 15.4" 2.4GHz Core i5 (A1286) - Early 2010 MacBook Pro 15.4" 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo (A1286) - Mid 2009 Your panel should be one of these models LP154WP3, LP154WP4, LP154WE3-TLA1 or LP154WE3-TLB1 if so, it’ll fit.
