I have an iPhone 6 and the ear speaker is dead, I replace the ear piece but still no sound, I tested the piece by placing the screen on another phone an it has sound, so the ear piece is fine. The vibration is also very low, I change part too and the problem persist. how can I fix this?
It could be that the phone is getting stuck on headphone mode. Does it say ringer or headphones when you try to adjust the volume on the home screen? Another thing is a bad connection from under the audio chip as worst case . If this is the case you’ll need to take the phone to someone that does board level repairs on iPhones to get that fixed. You may see that applying pressure near the top of the screen or bumping the phone restores the audio temporarily. If that is the case it’s the audio chip.
