Dlink DWA 181 and I want to update my laptop to big sur but there are no official drivers. The wifi card in the laptop is broken so wifi doesn’t work without the usb wifi. Can I update to big sur with no drivers? would the usb wifi still work?
Sadly you’re between a rock and a hard place! Catalina dropped support for older 32bit drivers and Big Sur requires driver signing. The only way to fix this is to replace the AirPort board MacBook Air 11" Early 2015 AirPort/Bluetooth Board Replacement
