Dear All, my iphone 6 device flash is working on Video and flashligh but When I try to take a picture with flash, White led is working properly but Amber one can not be working.. Because of this, taking a picture with flash is being dark… Do you have any solution for this problem ? Is it causes from the mainboard problem or just a flex cable ? I’ll be appreciate your answers and help.. Thank you.
Sounds like your LED unit maybe bad. Here’s the IFIXIT guide: iPhone 6 Power Button Cable Assembly Replacement. If you can get a copy of the iPhone 6 schematics you might be able to test the voltages at the connector to be sure. Otherwise it would be the driver logic on the logic board. Do keep in mind the yellow LED is to balance the color. If its not firing off the image should be on the bluer side.
