Dropped iPhone on kitchen floor, screen survived, everything looks fine but it will not power up. I have tried the USB but iTunes does not recognise it.I have opened it but cannot see loose connections but did not look under silver panels. Does anybody know what is the likely problem and whether it is worth fixing.

Hi, Is your iPhone of the 3 series? Is so, carefully open your iPhone with suction cup, again very carefully or you will tear the 1,2,3 ribbon cables or worse. Make sure Cable #4 is seated perfectly to the Logic Board. Really make sure, check it. Do not hit the power button accidently, because iPhone 3gs should not be ON when you put it back together. Then close the iPhone back up again very carefully. Good luck, Brad

Gud bye and have a nice time …..dear

Try to reset it by holding the sleep/wake button and home button until an apple logo appears. Connect to a power supply in case the battery has drained during the troubleshoot process.
