Chosen Solution
I dropped my iphone 7 plus and the screen shattered but touch was working and display was also working. So i went for the Glass only repair with a local mobile repair shop. After seperating glass from the lcd when he tested the Screen by plugging the screen to phone it was not working, like the screen was black and grey Bold lines were coming up and nothing else. So he said that the lcd got damaged while seperating glass. So then he replace the whole whole screen with a 3rd party screen(not genuine apple). But the quality and touch response of this screen is not same as original. So i just want to know that if there is any solution that the old lcd can be repaired? Kindly help me in this matter Thanks Here is the image of the problem happened.
Lower cost aftermarket screens do not have original Apple LCD and you can usually see the difference is brightness, colour profile, viewing angles etc. IMO, what the shop should be offering you is an original refurbished screen ro what some vendors call Premium/Choice/OEM quality screens.
