My kid brother threw his iPhone 5 onto the floor when he was throwing a tantrum, now the screen is completely unresponsive. There are no cracksThere are no black spots/bands, screen looks completely normalNot a problem with screen protector, took it off still unresponsiveAlready tried hard restart Are there other things I should try before resetting to factory settings? Will that even help? If it’s a hardware problem only, anyone know approximately how much it will cost to fix this? It’s probably just loose cables or something from that drop.
Screen been replaced before? If yes probably the screen cables just need reseating as sometimes the metal plate that holds down the screen connectors is not there.
