Everything still works on my iPhone but when its being used after a minute or two the screen freezes and starts to go completely white. After a couple of seconds when i lock the phone it goes back to working but again the screen freezes and starts to go completely white. I’m not sure if just replacing the LCD screen on the iPhone would solve this problem or if there is nothing I can do so salvage this iPhone. Please help.
Any time the phone gets wet there is a chance of damage unless it is cleaned properly . Tear down the phone iPhone 6 Teardown and clean it . If you have access to a ultrasonic bath clean the logic board with a distilled water solution this would be best . If not Clean ever connection with a soft toothbrush or Qtip. As well clean the logic board use a 99% isopropal alcohol for all cleaning. now is the time to start drying out the phone. Set the screen in a desiccant or silica gel leave it in for several day moving it from time to time to get the max effect from the desiccant . use a blow dryer on a low heat setting to dry the rest of the phone. Only use a hair dryer once you have cleaned the phone completely with the alcohol. Do not attempt to dry the phone if its still wet with water with the blow dryer as this only spreds the water. Replace the battery with a new one consider the old ones done. Clean again with isopropal alcohol let dry and when you think everything is clean and dry reassemble the phone (make sure to clean the contacts on the screen after removing from the desiccant). Once you’ve reassembled the phone its time to power it on. Hold your breath and hope for the best The reason the phone is only partially working will be corrosion on the logic board and this is why it needs to be cleaned. Hope this helps
hello, if the phone still working when is white (call,vibration ecc)? if yes certainly sure that will be fix changing with a full screen replacement. good luck
