My brand new Turbo microphone works only on speakerphone.
Hi, I assume that you mean that the phone is brand new not that the phone’s microphone is new. If it is the phone that is new, have you removed the clear plastic protector which covers the voice inlet hole on the bottom edge of the phone? If you have and it still doesn’t work take the phone and everything that came with it back to where you purchased it from and get a replacement.
