Chosen Solution
I have a MacBook Air 13” early 2015 that doesn’t want to turn on. By that i mean absolutely nothing is happening when you push the “On” button. The fan doesn’t start spinning, it doesn’t even show sign of trying to move. But every time i push the “on” button you can hear small beep noise from the fan. Sounds like it’s trying to start but fails instantly. I have already checked the battery, charging port and charger and found nothing wrong. I’ve also checked the cable going from the charging board to the main board and that also looked fine. My guess is that this is board related, but i am not so experienced with that and i,m looking for pointers for where i should start looking.
Thanks in advance!
I Finally managed to fix this!
I took the logic board out and put it in a heating oven for 1 hour on 175 degrees celsius. After the board cooled of and i managed to put it back together everything works. :D
At this point your logic board likely has a problem within the power logic. A common issue I encounter is damage caused by a fake charger. Different MacBook series encounter different areas damaged as Apple has improved some areas over the years which then pushes the weak point to a different area in the logic. Are you able to dig into the schematics and have the needed tools and part to fix the logic board or is replacing it the easier solution? MacBook Air 13" Early 2015 Logic Board Replacement I would recommend following Louis Rossmann’s YouTube channel as he has some great vids that get into the process he goes through to diagnose and repair logic boards.
