Hello, I replaced the touch ic on a iphone 6 plus and now when i try to boot the phone, the apple logo apears for like half a second and after that only a grey screen. I replaced it a few times already and it’s still the same issue. Any idea what could be the problem or where look? Hernando
You need to start by checking all of the surrounding components to see if anything may have moved and causing a short. Then check your power rail that supply the Touch IC’s and if you still don’t find anything obviously wrong, start checking the PMIC voltages. You can also remove Meson and try to boot to see if that makes any difference.
