I’m trying to troubleshoot a G5 with no power. Battery is good, charging insert dock thingamadoodle is good, power button is good. But…I don’t get an LED when charging or connected to PC and of course, no power when I press and hold the home button. Is this thing supposed to have a status LED? That might help me narrow things down a bit.
Hi, The image below, taken from the User Guide for a LG G5 from this website http://www.g5manual.com/ shows a LED indicator on the top section of the front of the screen. Unfortunately nowhere in the manual does it state its function! Hopefully this information is still of some use to you
