This iPhone was dropped in the pool for maybe 30 seconds. The only ldi is the one by the SIM card. The rest of them are white. With just the one indicator does that mean something? Like it didn’t reach the screen etc? This is a picture of the back of the screen does this indicate water damage on the screen
Based on the picture, it doesn’t look like water damaged it, at least, not significantly. The thing to check is the FPC connectors. They are what gets attacked the most by corrosion. Look at it under magnification and probe the individual pins to insure they are making electrical contact with the flex. Otherwise, if you have 1 LDI that is red, it means water got in. How much damage it did is really anybody’s guess. Ideally the logic board, with shields removed, should go through a proper decontamination (ultrasonic bath, Branson EC, IPA rinse etc). Only then do you start testing and probing.
This looks like aftermarket opening, someone changed the screen or opened the phone before. Those are finger smudges, another sign of aftermarket screens or phones.
