Hello to all I have 2nd generation time capsule. It’s overheating all the time. I do not want to change it location and buy another router. But i want totally remove hard drive from it. Question is: Does it work without hard disk inside it?

Yes, it will work in its AirPort mode only. You could try plugging in a SSD drive in its place which will run cooler.
