Hello, I saw that the mid 2013 macbook air battery was compatible on the mid 2012 macbook air. My question was, does this battery gives the mac a 12 hours battery life? or it just extend a little bit the original 7 hours battery life? Best Regards Antoine
There is two sides of the picture here: the Amperage of the battery and the amount of power the given system needs. Sadly the slightly larger battery won’t give you that much of an improvement. It’s the logic within the system that makes the bigger difference here. The new Haswell CPU series pulls less power than the older CPU’s. If you don’t need a new battery leave well enough alone.
