We are a Repair Company and one of my techs has tried replacing the rear camera on the iPhone SE model. The customer could not leave his device so therefore I could not further try and research the issue. The customer will be returning soon and is expecting us to have the part in stock. My tech says that he tried iPhone 5/5c/and 5s rear cameras and none fit. and when I search parts stores and eBay with iPhone SE camera nothing appears. We don’t have many iPhone SE come through our shop so this is our first replacement on the rear camera.
No, they are not the same. The iPhone 5S has an 8MP camera while the iPhoneSE has a 12MP camera. From the outside they appear the same though. so the iphone se camera wont fit the iphone5s and is there any adapters
