Hi, I plan the replace a logic board in an iPhone 7 and I know that the Touch ID sensor is linked the the phones logic board. When I replace the logic board do I also need to replace the home/Touch ID button with the one that comes with the replacement logic board? Thank

Yes you do. Make sure it is the home button that originally came with the phone. Make sure it says “with touch ID” before purchasing.
