Solved Does Not Respond To Remote On Off Volume And Source Samsung Television

Remote will do everything except on/off, volume and source. Model is approx 5 yrs old. We have tried changing remote but no difference. Update (08/05/2016) The model “code” on the side is as follows PN42B450B1DXZA Version is SC04

@boxofivehands if you are 100% sure that your remote works, then you most likely have an issue with the IR board on your television. It will help if you can give us the proper model number so we can try and find out more information on how to change that board for your TV.
