My brother said that i fudged up the ps4 because i left it on rest mode multiple times to update/install games.i dont think thats the case, could anyone help me out.PLEASE THANKS IN ADVANCED.
Overheating can happen due to improve/insufficient air circulation around the PS4. I used to face similar issue, when my PS4 used to remain ON for extended time of period (paused game, downlading or updation). I solved the issue by keeping the PS4 in open and leaving 1-2 feets space between back side and the wall. Now, I use a external mini USB fan, placed on top of PS4 to keep it cool.
I leave my ps4 on rest mode almost all the time. I also have it set for auto updates and it hasn’t acted up at all, I’ve also had my PlayStation for like 3 or 4 years. So I don’t think that would be your issue, rest mode was made for when you’re not using your console, the only downside is that it wastes a more electricity
No dude ot may cause of u leave the ps4 for 1 week straight.for eg. Downloading warzone. it takes a long time right cause its 100 gb so people with slow internet. So they keep it all day everyday. Cause when i was downloading and i kept it for 4 days for restmode. It heated so bad
I went to another country and left my ps4 on for like a month and it is now overheating so what shall I do.I cleaned the fan bit not that much so what else shall I do pls someone help
