I bought an ASUS VP247H monitor and I ran a test where I put a black image on my screen and the black screen shows some slightly brighter blotches like these: http://i.imgur.com/RuQQIl8.jpg

It becomes more visible when I look at the screen from different angles. Is there anything to worry about or is this normal?
@hsk from your images it definitely appears to be clouding. This can be caused by variation of the diffuser sheets inside your panel as well as the panel itself. For now, if it is not to obvious when you use your monitor, I’d leave it alone. If it does get in the way, you will have to disassemble your monitor and the panel to evaluate the diffuser sheets.
