Solved Does It Matter Which Way I Mount My Winch Auto Accessory

I recently obtained a winch for my ATV. I mounted it with the cable winding and unwinding from the top of the spool, not the bottom. After mounting it, I found that the cable is supposed to wind and unwind from the bottom of the spool, not the top of the spool. Your controls will be reversed. Instead of winding up it will be unwinding.
