How hot should the heat gun get? Mine is 250ºC.

Hi, It doesn’t matter really no, how close you get depends how hot the surface will get anyway, so you need to know how to control that really, making it too hot will damage it, if it’s not hot enough you’ll have a hard time prying anything off. :-)
Hey Mikk Rebase, It doesn’t matter which heatgun you use, you need like 900 watt. Thats enough.
If I have an iPad Air 2 and need to take the screen off to get to the battery etc which would be the best possible way to do this without damaging the screen it’s self?
