Hi, Is there any way to tell if the chip is bad? How to tell if a chip is bad? I recently worked on iphone 7 image ic (chestnut), I’ve changed it twice but still I get OL on pin E2 and E3 which is the same.
I have traced everything else on that line is OK.
Those Pads E2 and E3 should read OL. What makes you think you have a problem with chestnut? It hardly ever fails.
