I think I read somewhere that Apple has built-in tiny sensors on some of the newer Macbooks that allows them to know if a laptop has had a liquid incident. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this? Or is it one of those myths.
This kind of design has been going on for decades. There are indicators, but not electronic. It works like pregnancy tests, there are chemicals inside the indicator sticker that changes color after absorbing liquid water. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquid_con…
