Does anyone know what this is and what it does I accidentally broke it.

This component is M2800, aka Trinity. This “chip” is basically a substrate for holding a few coils inside that tend to blow easily. It includes two backlight coils, one for the Taptic Engine (ARC), one for the Speaker AMP and one for the TIGRIS Buck converter which is used to generate VDD_MAIN from PP5V0_USB (which is provided by whatever power source is connected to the Lightning Port). Don’t trust the Chinese vendor descriptions who claim it is a Touch IC…the Touch IC’s are on the screen assembly and nowhere to be found on the logic board.
