A friend asked me if I could replace a cracked screen on this model of an imac but all I can find under a1418 screens are models that refer to 2012 versions with MD093 and MD094. Is this screen still compatible with the 2014 model? has anyone jotted down the model# and manufacturer for their 2014 iMAC?
On the back of the display you should find the manufacturers part and product ID. Use that information in searching for a replacement. These are too new to have many spare parts found here… you’ll probably have to purchase one from Google Shopping. I would want a guarantee from any vendor that what you’re buying will work, or, you could end up paying for return/restock fees. Also paying by credit card will be a benefit if there’s a problem as the Credit Card Company (not a lawyer) will help in resolving any dispute you have with a vendor.
