Just being curious because I’ve never tried it, is the iPhone 6 ear speaker compatible with an iPhone 6s? They look very similar, but I highly doubtful they are internally.
Hi tyler, no it will not.. They might look similar but they are not compatible with eachother.. tried it myself when my store was out of 6s ear speaker.
Interesting…I have never tried it but just by eyeballing the pictures, the speaker hole seems to be slightly offset from one to the other. iPhone 6 Earpiece Speaker iPhone 6s Earpiece Speaker According to iFixit: COMPATIBILITY iPhone 6 Excludes iPhone 6 Plus, 6s, and 6s Plus It may work but the alignment may be just a bit off.
it works, you just have to use a bracket from an iphone 6 or else the holes will not line up, one screw will not line up but it works fine without the screw, just did it on a 6s
I just done it, the iPhone 6s Plus speaker stopped working and I had an old iPhone 6 broken screen. I replaced the iPhone 6s Plus ear speaker with the one from the broken screen from a normal iPhone 6 and it works perfectly.
