Chosen Solution
I accidentally bought a model A1405 battery which is supposedly for Mid-2011, 2012 MacBook Airs. However, my MacBook is a Mid-2013 model which is supposed to fit an A1496 model battery. People have said 13" MacBook batteries are interchangeable, with just their capacities and voltages being slightly different. I wonder if this is true and whether it would be safe to continue to install this battery on my MacBook. Thanks for reading my question. Justin
To anyone who has the same question: Yes it does fit. I took a risk and just replaced it and it works like a charm.
If it looks like this, then, yes, it will fit.
