Hello.

The agitator has worn off dog teeth. I couldn’t find proper socket so I temporary fixed it by adding a strip of rubber from old bicycle tube between dogs and agitator’s teeth. When tested manually it only spins top part freely clockwise and catches bottom part when spin counter clockwise - good.

However during wash cycle the agitator seems to be just spinning clockwise, without the “stop” motion, as if there is no friction to stop it.

Is this normal?

Thank you. Some photos and video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ahy4tAKwTEwu8h

@vanowm it should move back and forth to agitate. I suggest you replace the agitator dogs first and then re-evaluate
