Hi..thought it was the fuel filter so replaced that but van still stalls after driving for a couple of miles. Bought fuel injector spray…no luck. Neighbor says it is not the fuel pump. Car starts again after it cools. Kristina
Clean your throttlebody, sounds like as long as the engine is cold, the computer controls a little extra air into the engine and it runs good, as soon as the engine warms up, the idle controller no longer is bypassing air and the engine stalls. Will it run better with the AC on? If you keep your foot a little on the gas pedal, can you keep it running a little bit off from idle?
If the cleaning doesn’t do the trick, maybe replace the pcv valve, about 5 bucks at the auto parts store.
Thanks Joe! If throttlebody cleaning doesn’t help will replace pcv
