Keeps turning itself on & off without any command to do so. Also when it does come on only the top 1/3 of the screen comes on with all kinds of colored lines. Do we buy a new one or can this be fixed?
Carolyn, The problem could be a few capacitors have to be changed. Take TV into a good TV repair shop, have them take a look, diagnose and estimate repair.
