I need to replace my screen for my 6S Plus, and would also like to replace my battery as well. If I buy the kit for the battery and the part only for the screen and digitizer, will I have everything I need to replace the screen as well?
Get the kit for the battery replacement as it includes the screen and battery adhesive. The tools are identical as they both allow you to open the device. Order the screen as part-only and you will be in great shape for your DIY repair. A word of advice, always disconnect the battery first and reconnect it last, otherwise you could damage the backlight circuit on the logic board.
You may need to buy a few screw bits. I would examine both kits and cross reference them to see if any tools are included on the screen kit that are not on the battery kit. Just open them on two tabs next to each other and go through the list one by one. The list of included tools are on the purchase page.
