I’m in the process of replacing my ipad’s digitizer and when I was testing the new digitizer, the new screen wouldn’t track movement. The home button works fine but that’s about it I’m not sure if it’s a defective screen or what. I looked online a little and saw some people talk about needing to replace the fpc connector, so I took a look at it but I’m not sure if that’s the problem or not.

RuiXu Tsai your image is not very clear but the actual connector looks okay. Now we cannot see the components on the board which may be an issue. Since the replacement of the connector will require some pretty good soldering skills and some decent tools etc. I’d suggest that you start off with the replacement of the digitizer. Start with the easier things first and work your way into the complicated area.
