I dropped my moto x pure edition and now it’s cracked on the upper right hand side. The entire top half of the screen isn’t responding and under the crack there’s a weird white and orange discolouration. Do I need a new LCD or a new Digitizer or both???
Hi, What happens if you turn the phone into landscape mode, does the problem remain in the same area or move with the orientation? It could be just the digitzer but according to the Ifixit guide for your phone, it is better to replace both the LCD screen and the digitizer at the same time if you wish to avoid the possibility of breaking the LCD screen when trying to remove the digitizer.
