So I’m cleaning my computer’s fan for the first time, it stopped working recently (making a high pitched straining sound during use now). What precautions should I take in terms of the hardware before doing so? Do I have to remove the battery? Hard drive? CPU? My laptop’s design makes it very difficult to remove the battery.
