my screen had been popping out many times and i just pushed it back but i dropped it and the whole screen came off, theres a black pice that still has my phone connected to it, and earlier it had a light earn i pressed the home button but only a green line appeared. my alarm started going off so i pressed the off button and it went away but now no light or green line is showing up. Is it just my screen that needs to be replaced or the entire phone?
A picture would be nice :>). Was this the original screen or a replacement from a previous fix? Based on what you say, it definitely sounds like a bad screen. You will want to be careful not to damage it further because it sounds like it is just hanging by the flex cables and you dont want them to get “pulled”, thereby causing damage to the connectors on the logic board.
