I dropped my iphone 5c on tile floor and it was already cracked before that but now the bottom half of the screen is black with green lines and the screen doesn’t work at all anymore. I know how to replace the screen I just need to know if I should get a new LCD screen also, and the cheapest place to get one. Also I can see cracks under the glass, I am not sure if that means the LCD screen is cracked or not.
sarah, from what you describe it does sound like your complete display needs to be replaced. Your LCD is definitely broken. I suggest that you replace the display assembly.
