Do I have a virus? I have accepted a link from a friend inviting me to download whatssap with video chat. 10 min after that my phone went black, didnt turn off, just black. I removed the battery several times, tried every button, but nothing. It doesnt even registe in the computer when I plug it in. over a day after it came back; just like that. It worked fine for an hour and went dark again. Yesterday, I had it for 2 hours. I downloaded antivirus and they say everything is perfect. but it went dark again. It hasn’t fallen or been in contact with water. I am only using 35% of its current memory. I have it for a year and this is the first time I have any kind of problem with it. Today, the phone is normal again and has worked fine for 6 hours so far. Do you know if I have a virus in my system? Could anyone have gained access to my phone? Should I flash it? Do you know what this might be?
It doesn’t sound like a virus to me, but rather an intermittent hardware fault. Given that it’s not recognised by by the computer, that suggests that it has totally shut down. I’d be inclined to try a new battery.
