I changed out the display. The unit will power up but does not respond to touch.
You probably have a faulty digitizer. Power off the device recheck the connections and clear of any debris with canned air, just in case. If the digitizer still isn’t responding, you need to get a new screen. If this was a part purchased from iFixit I’d suggest contacting support@ifixit.com
